Rain

rain droplets hit our bedroom window:
their music lulling us to sleep
as we lie tangled like
carelessly discarded rope.

as you breathe out, I breathe in:
our chests pulling and tugging
at one another. The thump thumping

of our heartbeats matching the rains

pitter patter. your lips were
meant for mine, mine for yours. with
each touch my skin bumps— tingles,
absolutely drunk off your nectar.

reluctantly resisting passion,
your smiling eyes flirt.
I blush, as you play with
my hair, I stare at the rain

droplets as they hit our bedroom window:
their music lulling us to sleep
as we lie tangled like
carelessly discarded rope.
